DMF has been appointed to carry out the detailed master plan and roads and infrastructure engineering design for this 112 hectare development in Jebel Ali. Included in the scope is to obtain all local authority approvals and final sign-off sheet (“SOS”) from Dubai Municipality.
Jebel Ali Village is a mixed-use development combining aspects of heritage architecture with abundantly modern/contemporary landmark buildings. It is unique for Dubai in terms of its theming which fits the site contextually, and which will, when built, offer future residents multiple residential choices and a major shopping and entertainment destination in the southern corridor. The project also generates employment opportunities for future residents with businesses like IKEA establishing as the significant presence in the community and The Venue/Events Space precinct offering entertainment and leisure attractions. Ample leisure and recreation space, plazas and public/social spaces are provided in parks, sports complexes and the rich pedestrian environment planned for the heart of the area.
